Design Elements
To add a little bit of intrigue to VorteXplores platform, I had the pleasure of designing some fun error page illustrations. The project required me to use VorteXplores Iconic Sammy the Seal in the a tongue-and-cheek scenario in relation to the error code.
VorteXplore Error
Page Design
The illustrations had to be customizable for desktop, tablet and mobile. I had to create the appropriate negative space to leave for the error message. The final task was designing a gif of the sun and moon rays subtly pulsing.
Florio Digital Marketing (Mobile & Desktop)
The historic Florio Winery in Marsala Italy, built in Tufo stone by Vincenzo Florio in 1832, welcomes visitors and offers them a captivating journey of discovery in a sophisticated, unexpected world.
The idea was to give visitors a complete, unforgettable experience to Italy. I lead them on a journey of discovery to a world of magical atmospheres, well-being for the senses, and style. An unmistakable style that embodies state of the art technology and modernity, excellence and uniqueness, knowledge and culture.
Of all the major wineries that have played a part in the history of Marsala, the Florio Winery was the last to be established. However, it quickly became one of the largest, eventually outdoing its British competitors in terms of prestige and sales, and even went so far as to absorb them.

Responsibilities
My team lead thought that this was the perfect project for me to tackle, since I have a strong background in illustration. My designs were to match some of the artwork that had been featured throughout their web page in an old European style. They needed the wine bottle illustrations to be shown in a recipe, paired in a cocktail glass and as a apéritifs.
Project Inspiration
The designs were completed for mobile and desktop. The illustrative style was exactly what the client required.
First Design
The Italian company then changed some of the designs throughout their website, so these illustrations would have to be changed to be more cohesive.
The illustrations needed to be changed to be more graphic using linework. I copied my linework over from photoshop to Figma and set the asset up to be used to change to any colour desired in the future.
The Final Product
While working on the Marketing collateral, I had time to understand how to incorporate my illustrations & graphics for various types of collateral.
Lessons Learned
Working on Florio wine, I was able to collaborate closely with my Sr. Designer to create cohesion with my designs. The final materials were well received by the team & clients were elated over the spot illustrations.
